Greetings Terrans, happy Orctober. Just a short post today, with some equally short greenskinz to share – a small rabble of gobbos from the Silver Tower set:

The observant among you might notice that there are are a few too many limbs and eyes for the given number of heads… that’s because these are ‘Scuttlings’ – mutated gobbos from the Silver Tower fluff:

Grot Scuttlings are a type of grots that live in the Silver Towers, infesting the Gaunt Summoner’s domain neither by his will or permission. These green-skinned invaders, sprouting like fungus and ensnaring the unwary that they might devour. Grot Scuttlings resemble half-arachnid half-grot creatures and are tribal and wily. They have four grot legs and two hands in which they clutch stabbas, spears and Huntin’ Bows. When some Grots start eating a strange fungus that grew on big spiders, which, over some time, caused them to mutate and so Scuttlings were created.”

So there we go – weird and mutated night-goblins is pretty much the vibe here… Not much else to say! The set of eight is comprised of four melee grots, and four ranged grots:

The minis are pretty goofy, and not terribly inspiring to paint, so I didn’t put much effort in to the job – just a whole load of drybrushing & a bit of highlighting for the flesh. Of the two types, I suppose the melee ones are a bit less naff thanks to the awkward sticky-out ‘bow-arm’ situation, but there isn’t much in it! Still, they are done and dusted, and I’m counting them as my humble contribution to Orctober.

Have a good one all, catch you later.
