Day 1 of the Chapel is over… two warbands have fought their way through the Albino Forest, having defeted a bloodthirsty wytch-cult. Now they approach the entrance to the chapel itself. Only the enigmatic Lady Elect, mistress of the gates, knows what trials await…
Here’s a quick photo dump of the warbands involved on day 1. First up – Mark’s Wytch-cult:
And here’s Kieran’s Imperial cultists:
Here are the assembled Ostium Guides (plus other denizens of the Albino Forest:
And a group shot of my Exodites:
Hell yeah! Great stuff.
Seeing warbands of this quality in the flesh and on a table is certainly a beautiful sight :-)
Wow! Awesome set of minis.
You’re not wrong mate, the collective effect is a whole new level of cool
All the miniatures look amazing!! I hope there will be some batreps. By the way, who did the terrain thing they’re standing in front of hehe 😉
BatReps for sure mate, and yeah, you know that building came from some crazy dude from Down Under :-) Seriously mate, the boards looked amazing, and your buildings were perfect – Mark had some pro photography done on Sunday evening, so expect some amazing pics from him in the near future ;-)
Oh wow coooooool !!!!
So good!!! Seeing this sort of gaming and lobbying spread to such quality and quantity is incredible. Add in GW’s reaction to that in Necromunda release and we can’t expect amazing things to come.
Too right Migs, this sort of thing is the pinnacle of the hobby IMO – I’m just chuffed to have been a part of it!
Awesome!
:-)
Wow, impressive bands there :O
They sure are mate, and so cool to see them all together!
Great looking models! It’s exciting to see this collaborative effort come to fruition!
Too right – I dread to think how many hours of crafting, converting & painting went in to this…
Ha! Well I say hours well-spent. For the fun and final product!
Fantastic stuff mate – great to see it all come together in the end :-)
It sure was mate ;-)
It was an excellent day and a bloody battle. I’m glad it went so well and to see such cool warbands go head to head was a joy.
It sure was mate – fantastic weekend :-)
So cool to see everyone’s work together! I really need to get my finger out and finish of my warband.
:-) yeah you do!
These are a lot of really cool and inspiring gangs. Lots of epic characters! :D
But I have a single question: Mark’s Wytch-cults doll heads freaking me out. Are they selfmade or were did he bought them.
:-) Mark 3D prints those – he’s basically a wizard.
Ok. Thanks…
Amazing models and scenery. I’m glad I found your site. It goes good with my morning coffee.
It’s amazing what people can do when they come together on projects like this – I’m glad you have something nice to go with your morning coffee :-)
Those death-doll masks are so creepy together! Beautiful stuff!
They sure are mate – Mark nailed the creepy vibe beautifully with these!
